Doctor Who: Series 1: Episode 4/5: Aliens Of London/World War Three

I do quite enjoy this episode but it is very random and weird.

The Doctor returns Rose to Earth and he thinks 12 hours have passed since the events of 'Rose'. But he later finds out that it has been 12 months! And as you could probably tell Jackie was not happy! And as a result of this Jackie involves the police and that is a really funny aspect and it fit in really well with the episode.

A while later the Doctor and Rose are talking and a spaceship fly's over head so naturally they go to investigate, they soon find that London has been closed off and if things are getting better the spaceship and smashed and broken Big Ben. We soon learn of the Slitheen human sized creatures who are very dangerous to be around. They are very funny as characters and I think Russell T. Davis has done a great job with these creatures and made them connect with the audience.

The Doctor soon learns of Rose's family life and tries to to intrude but we as we know from the episode 'Rose that she is not happy with her life on Earth and sometimes I don't think the Doctor sees that. So he goes to investigate on his own.

So we were getting to the end of this episode and I had no idea what the Slitheen's plan was and I grant it was a two- parter so It was not supposed to give it all away but we should get an insight of what it may be.

World War Three- Where in the last 10 minutes of the episode... I kind of got the plan and they were trying to sell space junk to the people of Earth. We also learn of the Slitheen's weakness: Vinegar which is very funny and very simple and soon as the Doctor figures this out.... All hell broke loose.... Now I know what you were thinking, The Doctor did not vinegar them to death but with the help of a missile. At the end of the episode Rose finally stays with the Doctor, she packs a bag and leaves leaving boyfriend Mickey and mother Jackie heartbroken... But don't worry she'll be back soon...

All in all this is an OK episode.... 7/10
